Mission & objectives

Reviving connection—to self, community and the living world.

Our mission

The Remedy Revival exists to strengthen individual and community well-being through nature connection, community art, music, mindfulness, recovery-friendly support, environmental stewardship and accessible educational programming.

We envision a welcoming rural community hub where people of different ages, incomes and life experiences can create, learn, contribute and belong.

What makes the work distinct

Rather than treating art, nature and community as extras, we treat them as essential conditions for resilience, dignity and hope.

Core objectives

1. Create access

Develop low-cost and free programs that reduce financial, geographic and social barriers to participation.

2. Build creative confidence

Offer music, visual art, storytelling, craft and collaborative making without requiring prior experience.

3. Support recovery and resilience

Provide nonclinical, recovery-friendly spaces that complement—rather than replace—professional care.

4. Reconnect people with nature

Create gentle trails, outdoor classrooms, nature observation and restorative land-based activities.

5. Practice stewardship

Care for habitat, teach responsible land use and involve community members in conservation projects.

6. Strengthen community

Develop partnerships, volunteer roles and intergenerational gatherings that turn isolation into belonging.
